{November 15, 2007}   Go And Get A Pap

Every woman should get a pap by her OBGYN every year.  When you hit twenty and you have not has sex you should getting a pap once a year. If you are sexually active or you are on any form of birth control it is important to see an OBGYN.  This is to make sure that everything is working properly.   Paps help detect any cancers, yeast infections, and other diseases like STD’s.  The common thought is that a pap is very uncomfortable and they are correct.  It is not the greatest feeling being scrapped but if will test whether there is something wrong a little bit of discomfort is worth it.  If you have not had a pap, go and get one.  Something to keep in mind that when you turn thirty you only have to get a pap every other year.
